Note: Some fields may be missing or labeled differently in your database if your Admin has customized the Change Control Report.


Customizing your Change Control Report


To customize a field in your Change Control Report, hover next to the field name and click the pencil icon. This lets you change the label to better suit your organization’s needs.  If there are no pencil icons present then that field is not customizable. 



Your Change Control can also be customized within Team Settings. For more information,

click here.


Within Team Settings, you can: 

  • Change the module name and icon
  • Update e-signature settings
  • Modify the abbreviation in the list view
  • Hide or require specific fields

Creating a Change Control Report

Step #1

Click here to access the "Planning" sub-menu.


Step #2

Click "Change Control".


Step #3

Click "Create Report".


Step #4

Complete the "Departments, Owners, and Subscribers" section by completing the following fields:

  • Owners
  • Subscribers
  • Departments


Step #5

Complete the "Change" section by completing the following fields:

  • Source
  • Classification
  • CC #
  • Subject
  • Revision Number
  • Batch Number
  • Type of Change
  • Description of Changes
  • Rationale for Change
  • Budget Detail 
  • Budget Amount


Step #6

Click "Create Report" to save your progress.


Step #7

Add Change Control Authorization or Rejection


Step #8

Complete the "QA Assessment & Approval" section by completing the following fields:

  • Impact Evaluation
  • Regulatory Notification Required
  • Change Request Approved
  • Regulatory Authorization (if required)
  • Date
  • Quality Assurance Sign-off and Notes


Step #9

Add Authorization in the "QA Assessment & Approval" section.


Step #10

Assign tasks to users using the "Implementation Plan" section.


Step #11

Select whether all actions items are completed with supporting documents attached then complete the "Change Control Closure" section by adding the following approvals and/or rejections:

  • Process Owner
  • Quality Assurance


Step #12

Click "Save & Close" to finalize the report.
