There are two types of Risk Management Reports in Isolocity:


Note: Some fields may be missing or labeled differently in your database if your Admin has customized the Risk Management Report.


What is the difference between PFMEA and HACCP?

  • PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis): Identifies potential failures in a process to improve quality and prevent defects.

  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points): Identifies food safety hazards and critical points to ensure safe products.


Bottom line: PFMEA focuses on process reliability, HACCP focuses on food safety.


Customizing your Risk Management Report


To customize a field in your Risk Management Report, hover next to the field name and click the pencil icon. This lets you change the label to better suit your organization’s needs.  If there are no pencil icons present then that field is not customizable. 



Your Risk Management Report can also be customized within Team Settings. For more information,

click here.


Within Team Settings, you can: 

  • Change the module name and icon
  • Update e-signature settings
  • Modify the abbreviation in the list view

Creating a Risk Management Report

Step #1

Click here to access the "Planning" sub-menu.


Step #2

Click "Risk Management".


Step #3

Click "Create Risk Report".


Step #4

Select the "Report Type".  If PFMEA was selected please proceed to Step #5, if HACCP was selected please proceed to Step #11.


Step #5

Complete the "Administrative Details" section by completing the following fields:

  • Report Number
  • Owners
  • Subscribers
  • Departments 
  • Print #
  • Rev #
  • FMEA #
  • Item
  • Core Team
  • Prepared By
  • Last Review Date
  • Frequency
  • Duration


Step #6

Click "Create Risk Report" to save your progress.


Step #7

Add PFMEA Items by completing the following fields:

  • Process Function Requirements
  • Potential Failure Mode
  • Potential Effects of Failure
  • Severity
  • Class
  • Potential Causes of Failure
  • Current Process Controls
  • Occurence
  • Detection


Step #8

Click "Save" to add the item and repeat Step #7 until all PFMEA Items are added.


Step #9

Click "Approve" to finalize the PFMEA Risk Report.

Click here to download a PDF of your report.


Step #11

This step is only to be conducted when HACCP is selected in "Report Type" .  If you are creating a PFMEA Risk Report, you have completed the workflow at Step #10. Complete the "Administrative Details" section by completing the following fields:

  • Report Number
  • Owners
  • Subscribers
  • Departments
  • Plan #
  • Rev #
  • Form #
  • Company Name
  • Package Size
  • Product


Step #12

Click "Create Risk Report" to save your progress.


Step #13

Add HACCP Items by completing the following fields:

  • Process Steps
  • CCP Hazard Number
  • Hazard Type
  • Hazard Description
  • Critical Limits
  • Monitoring Procedures
  • Deviation Procedures
  • Verification Procedures
  • HACCP Records


Step #14

Click "Save" to add the item and repeat Step #12 until all HACCP Items are added.


Step #15

Click "Approve" to finalize the HACCP Risk Report.
