FAQs for "General Topics"
1. I have opened an attachment in one of the modules in the Isolocity application, but I am not seeing what I expected, to see, or something is missing?
A: There are many modules in Isolocity where attachments can be added for different reasons, and contain different information. The information that is uploaded into Isolocity is provided by your Organization. If you have any questions about what you are seeing, the best first stop is to talk to your Admin. If there is still an issue that they are unable to fix, please advise us and we would be happy to help you out.
2. What do I do with some's action items (Tasks) while they are away on vacation?
A: Action items (Tasks) can only be reassigned if they are created within the Implementation plan as you are onboarding with us. This is not applicable to the Action items/ Tasks that you create within the Isolocity platform, for other Team members.
The suggestion here would be, in preparation for the team members vacation delete any tasks within Isolocity that need to be completed while they are away. Then you can recreate new tasks for that time period, and assign them to the team members "vacation replacement" if you have one.
3. I'm an Isolocity end user, how do I unsubscribe from the Application?
A: Only Admins can add an remove users from the application. The best thing to do would be to reach out to your Admin, and let them know you wish to unsubscribe.
4. How can I cross reference a report showing incompletions?
A: Depending on what module you are in and which reports you are trying to compare, you can select the "Reports" box on the right side of the page to download a report and filter by "Open" or "Closed". If instead you would like to see specifically which "Action Items" are open you can go to the "Action items" module.
- Search by Report number
- Or filter by employee to see all their action items.
5. How do I downsize my screen, so I can read my Isolocity Test question on a cellphone?
A: We would suggest reaching out to your administrator for a larger device in order to complete the required training. If that's not feasible, you might try rotating your device to landscape mode, which should give you a bit more viewing area. If possible, access the document via the web or in desktop view, then reduce the webpage size to attempt to see the information more clearly. For the moment the platform is not yet optimized for mobile phones.
You can try this if on tablet or mobile device:
- Use landscape view (enable screen rotation and flip your phone on it's side).
- Use desktop view (if possible)
- Decrease the zoom on the page
6. What is the reason for the sub-modules that are labeled "Module Type"?
A: These sub-modules are available to further categorize records in your database and help with sorting and trends. In the documents module, it will also play into the abbreviation of the document name. Some common types include:
- For Documents: Standard Operating Procedure, Work Instruction, Form
- For Parts: Packaging Materials, Raw Material, Intermediate Product, Finished Product
- For Training: Document Training, On The Job Training
- For Equipment: Cranes, Inspection Machines, Capping Machines, Packaging Machinery, Centrifuges, Mixers
7. What is the difference between "Team Manager" and "Employee Groups"
A: Teams can be used if your company has multiple locations. Each team is like a fresh new database and will have its own data that is not transferred between teams. One user can be a part of multiple teams and can switch between them from the same login. Employee groups are created based on which employees receive specific training or need to view specific documents. This allows you to send out training to multiple users at one time and control access to documents. The Employee Groups can be assigned in the "Employee Manager". One user can be a part of multiple employee groups.
8. How can I communicate with my team in the software?
A: You can communicate with your team by assigning action items or tagging them in a discussion on particular records.
9. I am receiving emails from the system that I don't want, can I disable them?
A: You can navigate to "My Profile" by clicking on your initials/profile picture and toggle off particular notifications under the "Email Notifications" section. If you are an Admin level user you can also navigate to "Organization Settings" by clicking on your initial/profile picture and toggle off particular notifications for everyone within your database.
10. Why is the application running slow?
A: Performance can vary depending on your internet connection, the number of users, and the volume of data being processed.
Q: How do I fix my signature sign-off not working?
A: Ensure your username and password are entered correctly. Both are case sensitive and must match your login credentials.
