FAQ's for "User Permissions, Activation, and Passwords
1. How do I make sure that the team need to enter their PW, signature, and a reason code within the Isolocity platform when making changes?
A:
- Many of the different modules in Isolocity allow for the requirement of a PW, E-signature and reason code when making modifications. Where available the individual modules will have a"Gear" icon representing the settings. This is where these options can be toggled "On" and "Off" as needed by your business.
- Lets use Corrective Actions as an example. This Sub module is located under the CAPA module, on the left hand side bar.
- Once you have selected "Corrective Actions" you may then create a new Corrective Action report by clicking the button at the top right hand side of the screen
- Here you can begin creating your Corrective Action Report.
- At the Top right hand side of the page you will notice a "Gear" Icon. Click the Icon to open a side bar and view the available settings.
- Here you will see the following settings can be toggled on: Require E-signature for authorization, Require E-signature when report is saved & Require a reason code when report is saved. By default these options may be off, so if needed please go ahead and turn them on.
- Scroll to the bottom of the window and click the save button, to save your new settings.
2. What security features do you have in place for login?
A: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is available with or without Single Sign-On (SSO) and can be integrated via Isolocity or Azure. Additional security features include password expiration policies and automatic account lockout after 5 failed login attempts.
3. Someone in my team can no longer access Isolocity and needs their password reset, how can I reset their password?
A:
- The best way for a user to reset their password is to click the "Forgot your password" button on the main log in page of the Isolocity application : https://app.isolocity.com/login
- At this point they will be emailed a link to reset their own password, and will be able to re-access the App.
4. How can I re-send a user account activation request if a user missed the 24 hours period?
A:
- If a user missed the 24 hour activation period to activate their account & reset their password, they can use the "Forgot your password" button on the Isolocity log in page : https://app.isolocity.com/login
- Please ensure the user is using the email address that is associated with their Isolocity account.
5. How can I set up a password and e-signature?
A:
- E-signature can be turned on and off by selecting the Gear Icon, typically appearing on the top left hand side of the page in the applicable modules. You also have multiple other options on this page as far as configurations that are available.
6. What permissions do the different user roles have?
A: Please see the attached document explaining each of the User Roles & what they have access to:

7. What permissions level can archive different records?
A: Only Admin level users are able to archive records within the system.
8. How do I send a second welcome email?
A: The ability to resend the welcome email is currently not available. If the user has not received their welcome email, or failed to activate their account within the 24-hour activation period. Please contact support@isolocity.com
