OneDrive Integration

Isolocity is now integrated with Azure for OneDrive.  OneDrive in Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based service that helps organizations share and manage content, knowledge, and applications.

By activating the OneDrive Integration, you can easily add documents to Isolocity and complete editing within the browser.

Permissions Explained

Isolocity uses Azure Graph with the “files.read.all” permission, which allows users to view all files they have access to based on their account and permissions.  Here’s how it works:

  • For OneDrive Personal:

    • You can only see files in your personal OneDrive and files that others have shared with you.

  • For OneDrive for Work:

    • You can access:

      • Your own files.

      • Files shared with you.

      • SharePoint files that you have access to.

How Does Our Current Integration Work?

Our integration is designed specifically for OneDrive, offering two convenient ways to access your files.

  1. Recent Files:

    • Shows files from your personal OneDrive that you’ve recently opened or updated.

    • Does not include any files stored in SharePoint.

  2. Keyword Search:

    • Lets you search for files in your personal OneDrive using a file name or ID.

    • SharePoint files are not included in these search results.

How Can I Access SharePoint Files?

With our current integration, SharePoint files aren’t directly accessible.  However, you can make them available in OneDrive by syncing them using one of these two methods:

  1. Add a Shortcut to OneDrive

  2. Sync SharePoint Files to OneDrive

Once the files are synced, they’ll appear in your OneDrive and can be accessed through the search and recent files feature in our integration.
