This article assumes that training types and employee groups have already been created in the system. If these items have not yet been set up, please complete those configurations first, as they are required for the steps outlined in this article.


To assign Training after the Training Program is created, please view the videos on document-related training and hands-on training.


Step #1

Click here to access "Training Manager".

Note: Depending on when your organization began using Isolocity, this module may appear as “Human Resources” instead of its current name.


Step #2

Click "Training Programs".

Step #3

Click "Create Training Program".


Step #4

Select the format for the Training Program.  

Step #5

Enter the "Title" for the Training Program.  


Step #6

Select the "Training Type".  


Step #7

Select the "Employee Group" only if this training will not be associated to a document.  Click here to better understand document-related training.

 

Step #8

Enter the Training Description.  


Step #9

Upload any relevant files only if this training will not be associated to a document.  Click here to better understand document-related training.


Step #10

If "Test" is selected, please click "create new" and complete the following:

  • Enter Test Name
  • Enter the minimum passing score (%)
  • Enter the maximum number of attempts
  • Identify if you would like to randomize the questions.
  • Enter the "Sample Size" for the questions.

  • Select a question type and create your test.  There are three question types:
    • Multiple Choice
    • True and False 
    • Text Answer

  • Enter the question, options (for multiple choice), answer, and number of points.

  • Click save after the question is created.
  • Click "Create Training Program".


Step #11

If "Checklist" is selected, please complete the following:

  • Drag the "Form Elements" to the left to create the Program Checklist

  • Hover over each element in your form and click "edit" to customize them.  Once completed, click "close" to save the field.

  • Click "Create Training Program".
